What is the exact difference between kess v2 slave or master?
Is it better to buy original or clone are good?
It all depends.
Kess v2 good clone can only be used for older ecus but now also work with newer ones and with a slave you will have to trust the master for your maps as if you have a master you can write your own or choose from where you get them.
Kess v2 master:
If you have a master version, you can work directly in the program you have to write in the vehicle (tuning, egr off, ....) and rewrite directly.
Kess v2 slave:
If you are a slave version (which depends on a master (who modifies), you read the program (encrypted by genie), you send it to the master, he does what you do (paid money) and he re-sends it for you to write on the ecu machine.
It is expensive for the slave version user who depends on a master.
Kess v2 slave in master: kess v2 clone floods the market that's why there are many genuine kess slave for sale, besides most slaves can't do boot mode the advantages of using original kess v2 and converting it is you have a genuine original kess hardware, so the chances of hardware failure is less if you can fit genuine nxp chip, then great, otherwise you will convert to chinese NXP with chinese firmware
