How to read Simos 18 ECU with KT200?

Below is the procedure to read the password (Step 1) and to configure the control unit at boot to read and write the file (Step 2).

Step 1: Password Lookup

Kit to use:

– Multifunctional cable

– Bench box

– 2 resistors of 1000 Ω

Connect the following pinout and connections on the printed circuit board with the multifunction cable.

Use the driver: → TOOLS BOOT MODE → INFINEON TRICORE

Password → SIMOS 18 BENCH BOX PASSWORD → Click on “Find Password”

RED:

+ 12V 6, 50, 86

BLACK: EARTH 1

BLUE: CAN-H 79

ORANGE: CAN-L 80

WHITE: 71

BROWN: 66

Connect the pinout with the multifunctional cable.
